Lance and I have been friends - Since 6th grade began

Now in our late twenties - I’ve a story or two

Lance, I must tell you - You’ve been a great friend

What I love most about you - On your loyalty I can depend

I’ve a deep appreciation - Knowing if times get rough

Lance, you’ll be there - Hanging in tough!!

It’s funny how in life - We meet people who are ideal

They become the perfect match - Just like Lance and Camille

Camille the school bus driver - With a million stories to tell

About the kids on the bus - Who she handles so well!!

Studying for a Masters Degree - This really works out nice

When you get back to social work - Your experience will be precise

But I must tell you Camille - If you haven’t already found out

I was once Lance’s room-mate - And neatness is not what he’s about!!

Playing high school and summer ball - Me and Lance, my pal

Who’s most embarrassing moment - Was driving his truck into a canal

Camille who’s outgoing - Always ready to make a new friend

And Lance the reserved one - Who keeps them in the end!!

I’m glad that after college - We all ended up living here

So our friendship could grow - For I hold both of you dear

So let’s all raise our glasses - To toast the new husband and wife
