Help each of us Lord - Find out who we are

I know what we ask - Might give us a jar

But if our feelings are real - We’ll know what to do

Who we should help - And how to serve you

The world as we know it - Has various beliefs

On how we serve you - And give our brethren relief

Help us to see - It’s not how we pray

But that we believe in you - That gets us through each day!

The bible instructs, help your brother - Teach him to fish

But it doesn’t say to answer - His every wish

We each came in naked - Nothing did we own

Unfortunately we learned greed - As our seeds were sewn!

Lord, help me to broaden - My vision and see

That your greatest gift - Is that feeling inside me

When I’ve helped someone - Who needed it bad

With no thought of losing - Whatever I had!!

Teach me not to judge others - And help them do the same

But help each of us realize - That love is the game

With unconditional love for each other - While on our journey we go

Our lives will be easier - Lord, help us to know!

Lord it ain’t easy - To give generously, as not

I sometimes start feeling - I need more than I got

Teach me to trust - That you will provide

So when people are in need - I go to their side!

And I’ll listen closely - For your voice to hear

Lord, I’m really trying - To get these things clear

And now Lord, I’ll close - But please help me see

It’s not my possessions - But your love for me!! Amen!!
