I stand to salute - The bride and the groom

But first I’ll expound - But let no one assume

I made the introductions - To Glatt and to Lynn

Which was no easy task - Thinking back I must grin!!

She’s got wonderful wheels - I think was my quote

Don’t worry about his age - I said with a gloat

His father’s 83 - And still going strong

Glatt’s never been married - I don’t think anything’s wrong!!

He drives a black porsche - One just like mine

He almost had a Harley - Grown men shouldn’t whine

The Dinner of the Decade - Was the first time they met

This romance moved fast - If my meaning you get!!

Two wonderful children - A family complete

Glatt, you’re quite lucky - Kelsey and Andy are neat

You’ve dated many women - It’s just a fact

But when we ask about Karen - You refuse to react!!

It’s not only me - But your brothers John and Jeff

Come on, talk to the Finkster - Don’t sit and act deaf

Okay, I’ll get serious - You’ve been a great friend

A new chapter is beginning - With the old one at an end!!

I’ve never been married - But I hope and I pray

That I look as happy as you two - On my wedding day

So, we lift up our glasses - And toast with a cheer

To our friends Lynn and Glatt - Oh yes, Hear! Hear!
